Fantastic weekend on tap. I love one in the Kentucky Derby and will be singled in every wager. Haven’t felt this strong for the Derby in over 10 years. One of the jockeys made the comment I’ve been waiting for – and its go time! But that’s tomorrow, today’s races are a wonderful start to the festival. So many wagers so picks your spots and to what suits your style. I’ll be keying around my turf horses as usual, the new All Turf PK4 will be the first thing I play. I’ll be playing the Trifectas too where I’ve laid them out as that value always exceeds normal with such large pools this weekend.

Churchill Downs race 2 – #7 SUDDEN SWITCH – This Riley Mott trained daughter of Munnings took the blinkers off last time when 2nd best at Keeneland. She looks like a Keeneland horse for course but all those races had a subtle change or difference, blinkers on, blinkers off, and a sloppy surface. She looks like she’s cycling up to a lifetime best effort after closing like a freight train in her last workout. Down the road.
