What a week we are kicking off. It’s Closing Week at Saratoga with six wagering days left as we conclude on Monday. It’s also Kentucky Derby Week and we got screwed by a gate scratch yesterday at Churchill Downs but we’re moving along.
For Wednesday I’ve completely handicapped races 2-10 from Saratoga with Pick5, Pick4, Pick3 and Off Turf Picks provided as its been raining all morning and rain threatens this afternoon as well. On Friday & Saturday I will obviously have full card Saratoga but will also have the races from Churchill Downs from the 5th or so on – as they have 13 races Friday & 14 Saturday so we will have plenty of action available.
On Monday KY Downs opens for its six day meet. I’ll have Spot Plays and maybe the Late PK5 on Monday, I’ll do full card the next three days and will be playing in the Turf Handicappers Challenge the final two days of KY Downs – so I’ll have selections posted from another location if possible.
As you can see, lots of exciting action upcoming but it starts today. I like the races on turf or dirt so we’ll have some fun today as the excitement builds towards the weekend.

Saratoga race 3 – #2 DEMOCRATIC VALUES – This Honor Code ridgling returns to the races off a year layoff now in the care of Jorge Abreu, a former assistant to Chad Brown who previously trained the horse. The barn is having the meet of his life and he’s excited about getting this runner back to the races.
