We made a little money Friday as some tough trips and one big switch put a damper on my day. All week, I had Calidoscopio as my BC Marathon selection and switched him at the last minute with Almudena as I had a report that she looked marvelous on the track Thursday. Calidoscopio won for fun paying $36. I missed the exacta and the Pick3 so I didn’t make anything while having the correct opinion for days. Oh well, onward to Saturday.
I feel much better about the Saturday BC card once we get past the first few races. I’m expecting to do very well and be a happy camper by 8:45 Saturday evening. To purchase Saturday’s selections visit www.pick4win.com or email me at [email protected] .
Friday as the Free Pick I gave out my Best Bet who was The Fugue. She was tons the best but was buried in traffic on the rail, couldn’t get out, and was beaten. So today instead of my Best Bet, I’m giving my Best Long Shot as I can’t wait to bet this guy.
Saturday’s Free Breeders’ Cup Selection – BC Sprint – #6 Fast Bullet – this one is gonna be double digit odds for sure as he is the 3rd of three Bob Bafferts horses in this race. The Zayat’s have always been high on this horse as he comes in off a long layoff and only two lifetime races. Make no mistake, this horse is fast and very talented. He will be on the engine or sitting just off the leader. In early October he worked 6 furlongs in company from the gate with Smiling Tiger who is a multiple Grade 1 winner, who will take a lot of money in this race and beat him by 5 lengths. He is a keg of dynamite who has been wound very tight and is ready to explode.
The very best of luck!
