For Friday I’ve completely handicapped all 10 races from Keeneland with PK5, PK4, PK3, the All Turf PK3, and Off Turf Picks as Opening Day has arrived.
Fantastic card to start the Spring Meet and Saturday is even better. The Late PK5, Turf PK3 and the new $3 Late PK3 will be my focus.
You can’t play them all at Keeneland so I’ll lean on my strengths and look to cash some nice tickets.
For the Keeneland Free Pick ~ Race 3 – #8 Spiced Up (turf only)
This well bred son of Quality Road showed an electric late turn of foot in his first two turf races. The Franklin Simpson and the Carle Place are throw outs. He returned in January at Gulfstream Park which is notoriously speed favoring and that race was won wire to wire. He gets blinkers on for his 2nd start of the season and should enjoy the lush turf course at Keeneland. His late kick should be complimented as a speed duel up front is expected.
A Bonus Free Pick from Santa Anita Park ~ Race 9 – #5 Proof He Rides
This gelded son of Idiot Proof is a win machine winning 10 of 20 for three different barns. He adores Santa Anita, won down the hill two back and should only get better 2nd off the layoff. Could make for a nice single in the All Turf PK3.
