OK, We are pressing on into Saturday after some bad beats and too many 2nds so far this week. Another great day of racing awaits with stakes galore from Del Mar to Aqueduct. Haven’t been able to connect yet at Del Mar with the Hollywood Turf Festival but that’s horse racing. On more than one occasion I’ve entered the last Festival race on Sunday night and cash one ticket that makes you forget the rest of the weekend. OK, Difficult day on Saturday as the chips did not fall my way. I endured gut punches all day, none more so then when a first time starter that I sniffed out. We had to wait 48 hours to run, went off at 8/1 closing at 6/1, and got beat a nose while opening up 6+ lengths on the 3rd place horse. Ugh.
