SA RACE 5 ~ BC MARATHON ~ (3 star)
#9 ALMUNDENA – been in US pointing for this for months, gives above average appearance on track this week
#10 ELDAAFER – the one to beat, working his way back to best shot
#6 CALIDOSCOPIO – also been in US for months pointing for this, didn’t give best appearance after last work
#12 WORTH REPEATING – 2/2 on dirt, stalks, will make presence know in stretch
SA RACE 6 ~ BC JUV FILLY TURF ~ (2 star)
#5 SPRING VENTURE – unbeaten and untested
#3 SKY LANTERN – strictly the one to beat
#6 WATSDACHANCES – a very good filly, won 3 in a row
#1 KITTEN’S POINT – ONLY US horse to NOT run with Lasix prior, big late mover
SA RACE 7 ~ BC JUV FILLY ~ (2 star)
#3 SPRING IN THE AIR – a real closer in a race packed with speed
#5 DREAMING OF JULIA – should revert to closing tactics, feel she might bounce
#2 EXECUTIVEPRIVLIEGE – big question mark and last few works have not been good
#6 ALMOST AN ANGEL – 1st time dirt, may clunk up for a share
SA RACE 8 ~ F&M TURF ~ (4 star)
#4 THE FUGUE – fresh, been pointed for this for months, 2/2 at distance
#10 RIDASIYNA – don’t know if she’ll excel on firm turf
#9 MARKETING MIX – the best chance for the US horses
#6 LADY SHAMROCK – 3/3 at SA, 1/1 at distance but seems a tad over matched
SA RACE 9 ~ LADIES CLASSIC ~ (3 star)
#2 MY MISS AURELIA – will rate of serious pace, stays unbeaten
#1 GRACE HALL – almost put her on top, closes stoutly, can take advantage of hot pace
#6 ROYAL DELTA – has never put 2 big figure wins together, may bounce and still hit the board
#5 AWESOME FEATHER – a stalker, may be one to catch at the 1/8th pole
